Designer Inspired Welcome Mat By Meredith Heron

It's time for our last featured designer in our Designer Inspired Series of pink ribbon welcome mats exclusive to Carpet One Floor & Home. Remember, there are 12 designs and we've featured one designer and their inspiration each month. This month we're taking a closer look at the welcome mat design from Meredith Heron. Keep an eye out for the 2015 welcome mat collection that is coming out in October.

Meredith Heron wanted to create a mat that would welcome loved ones into the home. "I was inspired by Art Deco fonts, so I decided to place the word ‘Welcome’ across the center of the mat," said Meredith. "I then paired it with a cheetah print background to bring a twist of creative personality into the design." The colors of blue and green are both calming, popular colors, making them a perfect choice for this welcome mat design.
